About Me

About Me

I am a doctor in clinical psychology specializing in individual therapy, and I maintain a private practice in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

I received my Masters in Psychology in 1991, and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2013. Since 2008 I have been working mostly on women's issues, more specifically with post-partum adjustment patients, pregnancy issues, infertility, stillbirths, hormonal and menapausal problems, marital and relationship issues, divorce, "empty nesters", loss of a spouse, work related problems, parenting problems, and eating disorders.

As a doctor in clinical psychology, my main focus is to help people achieve their own personal goals by assisting them in acquiring their needed coping mechanisms to face their personal life challenges, providing them with support and practical feedback. My therapeutic approach is to integrate complementary methodologies and techniques such as Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solucion-Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapies, to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each patient. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplish.

I can conduct therapy both in English as well as in Spanish.
